I have an in-depth knowledge of long-term conditions, particularly in the over 65s, such as diabetes, respiratory problems and chronic heart problems. I can apply a health-promoting approach to these conditions in order to improve quality of life. -- I’m a registered nurse with over 30 years experience in the NHS, which has included A&E, health promotion and complex case management of long-term conditions such as diabetes. I have particular experience in helping people stop smoking, and specialise in motivating positive lifestyle change using evidence-based CBT. Most people worry about their health at some stage of their lives. They might need a simple answer to a simple question or a more detailed response. I’m an experienced nursing practitioner with varied experience from A&E to general practice.
